Chans won our pool as to guessing the temperature when we reached the Visitor Center.  105 degrees.  According to the news, it reached 117 later that day.

The great folks of Lee Vining Towing made special arrangments to take us to Fresno to get the fan blades, radiator, and related parts replaced.  They were very kind and made our trip much better than it could have been.
