Andrew and Amberly's summer home in Huntington, UT. Their apartment was the one on top where Andrew is standing. Many trips up the stairs wore down the old man.

Adam was worn down also. But he did help alot.

Andrew still looked strong and happy. Good thing-he still had many things to put away after we left to finish our road trip.

The Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry near Elmo, UT. About a 30 minute drive from Andrew's home in Huntington along an improved dirt road.

Adam and Ally(saurus) making friends and catching up on old(!) times. This quarry has the hightest concentration of Jurassic aged fossils per square foot of any place excavated in the world.

In the far distance, just at the base of the mountains, is Dragerton, now East Carbon City. The light colored hill at the left of the photo is a landfill run by Enviro-Care that does accept low level radioactive tailings. Nice legacy for the old home town!

The holes with water are dinosaur tracks near Arches National Park. Adam was all about dinosaurs on this trip.

Monument Valley with the famous stetch of highway that is seen in a lot of car commercials.

Looking out onto Monument Valley from Goulding's Trading Post. Many western movies were filmed in this area and there is a musueum commemorating those events and the interaction of the Native Americans and the military.

Petrified log in Petrified Forest National Park near Holbrook, AZ. The cement was added to maintain the integrity of the log. Originally it spanned the ravine without support.

Adam was getting fairly bored and pretty tired by this time.

The base of this log is about 7 feet in diameter. Beautiful and awesome.

Overlooking Lake Powell and Wahweep Marina. Adam was getting very excited to see Brad after 3 1/2 days on the road with dad. But he was a great traveling companion the whole time.
